5.0 out of 5 stars. Good Fit and QualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by JLK from Minnesota on Saturday, November 10, 2018These are what Pearl Izumi calls "thermal" tights as opposed to "thermal cycling" tights that have the chamois padding, but I like them because I think they can be more versatile without the padding. I wear padded cycling shorts underneath and also include a layer of thermal underwear, if needed. The L is a good fit for my 32" x 32" size, and in the week I've had them I have ridden my 30 minute commute in temperatures down to the low 20s (with the thermal underwear layer). These are replacing a previous pair of Pearl Izumi tights that lasted probably almost 10 years.

1.0 out of 5 stars. No paddingReviewed by Anonymous from MA on Wednesday, October 24, 2018Although these are sold for cycling, they contain NO chamois or padding of any kind. Returned.

1.0 out of 5 stars. crazy smallReviewed by NA from NA on Monday, September 17, 2018I am a solid waist 30.
These are crazy small. Order at least 1 size up - perhaps even 2 sizes up.
Obviously - I did not actually use this product so I cannot comment on their functionality.
Really just want to alert prospective buyers about the sizing. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Broad Spectrum GarmentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Germde from Northern Wisconsin on Tuesday, October 6, 2015These appeared to be the perfect item for cool weather bicycling here in the North Country - and they are. They are warm, fairly windproof, don't bind and best of all they stay put. The leg zips are actually long enough to be useful, the knee flexes without a cool spot in front (still can't figure out how they did that) and they have a decent rise. I rode with them two days in a row in great comfort. On the third day I left in 26ºf for an all day motorcycle ride with these tights under my armored pants - they were perfect! I stayed warm and dry all day. I see these as perfect for snowshoeing, fat biking and XC skiing. A great, well thought out product.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Typical PI qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by PhotoRick from Colorado on Friday, August 28, 2015This is typical Pearl Izumi quality and the fit is good. Hasn't been cool enough to try but looks like it will be warmer than my other tights.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality and fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by KEAW from Indianapolis on Thursday, July 2, 2015Great product with a good fit that I will use for cycling in cool weather. I am big and the xxl fit very well. The zippers in the legs make very easy to take on and off while providing a good fit over my socks and cycling shoes. Price was great as well from STD.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Thermals!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Wednesday, April 8, 2015I used these with the Pearl Izumi ELITE Soft Shell LTD Jacket and the combo worked great! It was about 45 - 50 degrees and these blocked the wind nicely and kept me warm and dry. I thought they were padded, but they are not. So I wore a pair of cycling shorts under them and it worked great. I did try them out in 34 degrees, but that was a bit too cold for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice tightsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Guddybus from Oregon on Friday, March 13, 2015Typical good PI quality. Comfortable on a fast 35 mile ride Thursday. Certainly good for 50's and maybe colder temps. Very satisfied.
