But as other reviewers said, the arch was very high, and uncomfortable to my feet. I returned the shoe. I had purchased a similar pair of TEVA sandals from Sierra Trading Post previously and I love them.

For me they are really comfortable, and I have felt secure walking in them under various trail conditions, including stretches along and across streams. My arches are average, and I have not found the high arch support of the shoes to be a problem.
If you need significant ankle support, these are probably not appropriate because of their softness. -

The arch molds to your feet after wearing them for awhile. I don't think these are as durable of a sandal as like a Keen sandal but they are comfortable to wear for everyday use. I don't think I would want to go trail hiking in these because there are open and unprotected areas in the sandal; tops of toes, heels, inside and outside foot areas. If you are looking for a sandal to just wear around town - this would work. If you are looking for a durable sandal for tough hiking and 'outdoor adventures' I would find one that would protect my feet better.
