We got a set of the mugs (showing a birthday cake and the inscription) so that each of the celebrants could be easily identified during the festivities. The kids especially like to be able to carry around their special-day mug and stand out from the crowd. Now the kids who have birthdays singly at other times of the year want to use the mugs for their individual celebrations too! These mugs are sturdy, the colors are vibrant (we don't put them in the dishwasher), they are fairly large capacity, and the handle is large enough to be actually useful. We are very pleased.
