The finishing of this shoe leaves something to be desired. For instance, some of the monk straps widen at a point ahead of the hole into which the pin of buckle would be inserted. So, essentially, that last hole cannot be used. And I happen to need that hole to get the shoe to fit nicely. For the price and given the Frye brand, I am very disappointed.
The shoe is not water resistant despite its rugged look. Note that rain water will seep in between the sole and the upper.
Other than the above, the shoes are okay. Business casual to casual.
