  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boot until the sole fell off

we were out on our second hike wearing these boots. The sole fell off on off the boots. We had 7 miles to hike back. Disappointing that a Timberland product was so poorly made.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Very tight fit

Ordered these to wear to work (office). Looks and price (under $60) were good. I wear a 13.5, so I always order a 14 which gives me plenty of room. Ordered a 14 in these, but they were way too tight - pinching across the top of the foot. Had to return them. Was my first experience with Timberland boots. Will likely be my last.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
