About HippyTree

Although the HippyTree apparel brand formally launched in 2004, creator Andrew Sarnecki had already spent several years building the foundation. Around the turn of the new millennium, Sarnecki started making a name for himself in the street art community, using the signature “Hippy” with the letter “i” replaced by the stylized outline of a tree. From his bedroom in Hermosa Beach, Sarnecki combined his love of design, surfing and photography to create a company that would soon evolve into the HippyTree clothing brand. Starting with surf calendars and T-shirts, the product selection expanded into HippyTree hats, hoodies, boardshorts and more. Not surprisingly, HippyTree is also committed to environmental stewardship, using sustainable and recycled materials whenever possible. Have fun, be comfortable and keep it green!
