4.0 out of 5 stars. What I was looking forVerified Buyer Reviewed by Roger from Providence, RI on Saturday, February 13, 2016I wanted a coat that could keep me warm no matter how cold it got without having to wear lots of layers underneath. For instance leaving the gym or walking around outdoor outlets where it's convenient to have one outer layer to take off or to put on. easily going between inside and outside. This coat fits the bill nicely. I just came back from a 15 minute walk where the windchill is -19 with only a fleece on underneath and I was comfortable except for my hands towards the end.
I'm 5'8'' with a 42'' suit size and the large fits well width wise. My shirt size is 34 for arm length and the jacket would most likely work well up to a 36. It's not too heavy but feels full. The hand pockets are large, with a nice zipped vest pocket included. The hood is very warm and covers my face up to my cheek bones. I really like how it zips above my chin eliminating the need for a scarf.
The reason it's not perfect has mostly to do with the hood not fitting quite right. It's not unworkable but I prefer to wear with a ball cap or equivalent to keep it from potential falling over my eyes. It's not a requirement, as it's fine until I move head to a point it will need adjusting. So, the hood could use some structure. Also, at first I thought the zipper was challenging but I have gotten adjusted to it.
Overall a I believer it's a high quality coat and comes at a very strong value. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Dainty zipperVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cubedan from Minnesota on Sunday, December 6, 2015Very comfortable lightweight. Has a form-fitting hood. I purchased this coat primarily for waiting at the bus stop. I live in MN. Everything is great except the zipper is hard to get started. I first ordered an XL, but had to exchange it for a large. Sierra did this for a postal cost of $5.00.
