I was afraid they would be a little clunky looking but they are not at all. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable due to bunions (yuck!) but these are great. The strap can be put around your heel if you prefer. I think the shoes would look better without the strap part but that is just my opinion. I wish I had ordered them in brown as well when they were available.
