5.0 out of 5 stars. Truly a ClassicReviewed by SJG from NYC on Thursday, April 7, 2016Classic not just in name but in design. Full Tilt has been offering the 2nd (3rd) coming of the Raichle Flexons for several years now. Raichle introduced this design over 30 years ago The liner is current technology. Everything else is true to the original design and that's fantastic. If you're new to the design, the tongue and buckle system will be awkward...for 2 days. After that, you'll be getting your boots on/off in half the time as your friends with overlap boots. While they're on, you will have the smoothest flexing, comfiest, warmest boots on the mountain.
Every boot manufacturer changes its design every few years. Trends have come and gone. Yet people are still buying this design. It took 30 years but other manufacturers have taken notice and you'll see that a few others are now offering boots with 3 piece designs. My first Raichles were exactly the color of these boots. I wore them out and bought a pair that was branded Raichle/Kneissl in the 90's. I wore those out and now I'm wearing these boots. Couldn't be happier. -
