1.0 out of 5 stars. Cute jeans reek of formaldehyde ...Reviewed by JB from Colorado on Friday, October 9, 2015Noticed the awful odor of moth balls as soon as I opened the package. Quick research revealed formaldehyde as the culprit. It is used as a wrinkle suppressor and dye fixative, common practice in Chinese manufacturing, and it is seriously toxic stuff (obviously). Sadly, the USA doesn't regulate the use of this horrid chemical in clothing. So, as much as I really, really like the look of these jeans, there is no way I can justify wearing them. Hope to save other concerned shoppers from wasting their time, money, and hopes on these. FYI - also ordered a pair of the Cruel Girl Kadee jeans for my daughter, and they don't have this smell.
