Nice coat with great attention to detail. Can be used to dress up or dress down. Fit is good, true to size (med in my case).
Light weight yet very warm. Can't go wrong with wool, and waterproof an added bonus.

Oh, wow! I bought this for my husband, and it is SO handsome. Very well made, great design, lovely lining, good sleeve length, roomy shoulders, amazing fabric. He wears a size L, and this is a perfect L. Actually looking forward to colder weather to see him wearing it. He loves it.

A great coat for the discomforting times of the year. The looks of wool with the protection from the wind & rain. Sizing is true. The only not positive comment would be that due to the nature of bonding a water proof membrane, the coat may feel a little stiffer than pure or blended wool. This is not really anything negative. A great value.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great peacoat for an amazing price!

    Color: Charcoal Size: Small

I got this peacoat on clearance for an amazing price and I love it so far! I've worn it in temperatures between 20-60 degrees F and it has kept me warm though all of it, while not getting too hot. I can't speak on how well it'll fair under 20 degrees F, but with a base layer, I'm sure I'll be warm and cozy.

The fit is better than most peacoats I've worn in the past. I'm a slimmer guy (5'11'', 140lbs) and like to wear tighter-fitting clothing and I think this has a nice fit to it. It's not slim-fit by any means, but it definitely doesn't look boxy like a lot of other peacoats I've seen.

Overall, definitely worth the purchase. Thanks to STP for always having the best deals!
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice quality, Horrible Servixe

A glitch in STP site made this product appear to be available in the size and color I needed (Medium) but reverted it to (XL) once added. This was confirmed by the STP CSR when we called.

After the first call, we were told that they were sorry for the error, advised that a new label for returns would be sent and offered a $15 raced. Several subsequent phone calls after that, we were still charged $6.95 shipping to return it, contrary to what we were originally promised.

I think the coat was the right one for me, in the correct size and color but the whole experience with STP CSRs and still having to pay for return shipping to get my full refund was a disappointment.

About Tahari

With less than a hundred dollars to his name, Elie Tahari moved to New York City from Israel in order to follow his dream of starting a business. After working a job at a clothing boutique in Greenwich Village in the early ‘70s, Tahari began designing his own clothing. Beginning with the original collection of Elie Tahari dresses, the still nascent clothing mogul soon became one of the first designers to open a boutique on the now-famous Madison Avenue in 1974. Today, with stores in New York, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Dallas and many more, Elie Tahari clothing has grown to become one of the most respected names in the designer apparel industry.
