It is light weight and easy to wear especially in car or train. On the trail it provides some coverage. It is just my wear-around go to hat. My Radar Pocket cap with the pink plaid model. It did not have the folding brim and ended up folding on its own. I like the fact that they have now added this feature. It is a well made hat and I've even worn it in the rain.
