I just received the shoes today and am already thrilled with them! These are the most comfortable brand new shoes I've ever tried on. The padding on the inside is quite soft and wearing the shoes around the house makes me say "aaahhhh!! in comfort. The leather is buttery soft and does shape to your foot as another reviewer noted. This is a plus as I have a bunion that is sometimes painful and hard to accommodate in shoes, but the softness of the leather upper fits the bill perfectly. The brogouing is beautifully done and the stitching around the sole is solid and neat, with no glue or other marks on the leather. The leather sole has a rubber tap inserted under the foot of the shoe and it seems well attached and even with the leather part of the sole which, hopefully, means that it will not come detached from the sole, as taps sometimes do. I couldn't be happier with my new shoes! They are worth their nearly $200 retail price and I am pleased as punch to have purchased them for less than half of that. Another great bargain from STP!

I'll start by saying I got these at a VERY deep discount from STP by taking advantage of an email promo. For what I paid, I would buy these shoes ten times over. The shoe is very good looking, and is remarkably comfortable. Size is true (I wear a 10 in most dress shoes, and these were spot on). The color is nice, but I do wish it was a bit richer. The lack of vibrancy in the leather leads me to the one con I have with these shoes: the leather is not the best. It is a thin leather that is lacking in rigidity. That being said, the relatively thin leather is one of the reasons these are so comfortable; there is ZERO break-in time. The soles also appear to be pretty good. Overall, I love these shoes. Definitely recommend at this price!

These shoes look quite nice and fashionable but on closer inspection the quality of the leather is cheap and the shoes have absolutely no lining at all. The soles are surprisingly nice looking but since I have had them only a week I cant vouch for their durability, but the shoe upper is losing shape (actually taking the shape of my ungainly ugly foot!) as the leather is rather flimsy and thin (full grain? I doubt it) with no lining. The sizing is spot on. (Though if you're between sizes you may prefer to go up half a size and have some room to prevent unslightly bulges in the shoe as it conforms to your feet) . This is why I only try to buy US or European made shoes.

Soft leather, flexible sole, great support, and light weight. Fits true to size. Fine for high instep. If you like the style, you will love this shoe.
