The leather insoles are soft and conform to your foot pretty quickly. And the natural crepe soles (why I bought the boots) are thick, solid, and the perfect balance of comfort and stability. These boots are well made/put together on top of it. They seem true to size. They do not run small...I'd say right on. Good traction.
