5.0 out of 5 stars. great quality boots

full leather with leather lining, hard to beat these. Quality is very high. Tend to run a bit longer and narrower than most of other boots. Insole needs to be replaced, zero arch support. But if you plan to replace it, make sure to get either the right insole or possibly go up half size to accommodate thicker insoles

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Another Zamberlan good product
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas on Tuesday, May 3, 2016
I have several Zamberlan boots and these are another quality product. They are really soft and supple. Not the best for hiking, but more looks then substance. Very well made as always in Italy. I love the "used" look and will continue to buy from Sierra Trading Post as they have good prices and customer service. There is a small rubbing on my left ankle on the inside that will go away once broken in.

Overall, very satisfied. Really a 4.5 rating.

Whether is Europe style, width are narrow.

And is not likely to wear in the summer.

Leather is good, but leather wave looks well.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid, well made boots

I purchased these boots, along with an alternative pair (Timberland Coulter 9-Eye boots) at the same time, in an effort to find boots that would fit a swollen ankle (I'm recovering from a broken leg), and provide support. These boots are very nice - well made and the materials appear to be excellent quality. They are lined with leather, with light padding.
When I received the two pair of boots, this was the pair I tried on first. They fit well (I'd ordered a 1/2 size above my normal size 10), and were pretty comfortable on my "bad" ankle. However, I decided to go with the Timberland boots, because they were more comfortable (these rubbed slightly on my swollen ankle as I walked). One advantage these boots have over the Timberlands is the Vibram sole. The Timberlands have a smooth boot sole, which wouldn't work well under wet, slippery conditions.
My original plan was to return these boots, but they are so nice, I can't bring myself to return them! I'll probably keep them for hiking and working at our kid's farm.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. The boots run a little large

I can't truly write a review because I had to return the boots for being too large....I normally wear a 10D and they were a 1/2 size to large.

About Zamberlan

This brand’s tradition of manufacturing top-quality hiking boots actually dates back more than 85 years, when Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in Italy, (and it remains a family-owned business today). The history of Zamberlan boots and Vibram® outsoles are also intertwined. When Giuseppe Zamberlan and Vitali Bramani jointly developed the now-famous Vibram® all-terrain outsoles, Zamberlan hiking boots were among the first in the world to feature them. Today, Vibram® soles are standard on every pair of Zamberlan hiking boots. Other technology you’ll frequently find includes Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts, Flex-STM technology for outstanding lateral support, Z-Tec anatomic lasts and many more. If you demand the absolute best, consider choosing a pair of hiking boots or mountaineering boots from Zamberlan. You won’t be disappointed.
