1.0 out of 5 stars. NotReviewed by MWL from New York on Friday, December 8, 2023I've worn Oboz for years. Some are good. Some are not. These are not. Very stiff out of the box, I figured they needed breaking in. After wearing them for several miles no break in seems to be happening. This is undoubtedly because they are made entirely of synthetic material. You can't break in polyurethane. The fit is close and too tight for thicker hiking socks. However, even with laces fully tightened, the heel slips up and down when walking, which I find very annoying. The "O fit insole" has a cushioned heel cup but it still slips up and down. The best part of the "O fit insole" is that it is removable. So I removed it and bought an insole for $9.99 when I was at the grocery store. An immediate and vast improvement. I would send these back but I know Sierra won't accept them because they've been used. My loss. Don't make it yours.
