-ArcticShield cold-weather clothing is innovatively thin and unbelievably warm. The ArcticShield secret is an exclusive ArcticShield heat retention technology called RE-tain® and now ArcticShield has applied that technology to a line of ArcticShield hunting apparel, gloves and ArcticShield base layers that keeps you warm from head to toe. Bulky traditional insulation only slows body heat loss without reflecting heat back into your body. ArcticShield's exclusive RE-tain® technology is a multi-layer thermal barrier that captures and returns up to 97 percent of your body heat. ArcticShield outdoor apparel also includes technologies for water proofing, wind proofing, odor control, moisture permeability and maximum comfort. ArcticShield keeps you warm in some of the coldest conditions without a bulky, restrictive fit to slow you down.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Nice gloves, weak seamsReviewed by Mntnhikr from Brooklyn on Saturday, March 1, 2014These gloves are light but pretty wind-proof. The removable liner gloves are a nice feature, even if it makes getting the gloves on/off awkward. However one month into light wear the seam spilt wide open getting a glove off, kind of shocked how easily. If you purchase plan to have to make repairs.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Artic shield system glovesReviewed by Anonymous from Georgia on Friday, December 27, 2013I looked at these at Bass Pro Outdoors but couldn't see paying $50 for a pair of gloves I only wear hunting on cold days. I found the same gloves online at Sierra Trading Post for $16.95. The only negative is I had to pay shipping cost but that brought the cost to less than half at Bass Pro. The gloves run just a tad on the small size but they still fit. I would reccomend the next size up for medium hands for men.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Questionable !!Reviewed by Tom in Vt from Schenectady, NY on Monday, December 16, 2013Unfortunately , while I like the product, they failed on the first occasion of wear. The seam of the gloves split . They are the product I wanted, I was to exchange them, but they were on close out / clearance. The size was sold out!!! Again bummer ! STP Will credit, but that's not what I wanted. Dang. I'll get someone to sew them. !
