5.0 out of 5 stars. substantial, easy to useReviewed by scope from Ga on Monday, January 14, 2019I'm not a knife junkie, just wanted a folding knife, but something that wasn't a toy and didn't break my wallet. I'm a hiker, so I appreciate lightweight, but also know there's a balance of lightweight and effectiveness for purpose. Wanted something that wouldn't get pushed around in self defense and light enough to hike with. For me, this fits the bill, but for some hikers it would be way too heavy. Its simply very substantial, yet minimal form knife. The blade is relatively thick, and the handle seems to add weight as well, but is still minimal and with effective friction for handling. The assist opening works well with a quick one-handed flick. The closing is two-handed for me. The steel is listed as 440A on the knife, which I had read to avoid and likely would not have ordered had it been described this way online, but I do believe the german steel is likely of better quality than std. Whatever, its a good fit for me.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Puma Drop Pocket KnifeReviewed by rock hunter from Iowa on Wednesday, January 9, 2019Good concept but this knife has poor manufacturer tolerances. The knife will not lock up with opened and I am then required to play around with it to get the blade in to locked position. This makes this knife unsafe.

4.0 out of 5 stars. okayVerified Buyer Reviewed by Matt from Michigan on Wednesday, January 9, 2019Seems like good quality steel. Mine has a tan handle even though the description said it is black. Solid feel to it. Very heavy, more like a bushcraft knife. No finger grooves in the handle, I think I'll dremel some in myself. Kydex sheath, only covers the blade and hilt. Does not extend far enough to have a belt loop which is kind of a bummer. For the price, seems decent enough.
