On those cold Northern windy beach days you will need more wind protection. The only weird thing is the zipper operation but it works when get used to it. Recommend this Vest.

Twice as warm even? The weight and compressibility are the cost. Quality is great. Love the fuzzy collar and pockets. Hands are behind all the down for max warmth. A L fit my 6-3/184lb frame perfectly. But this is no thin, wear-it-at-the-office lightweight. Can't wait for real cold to use this puff monster.

The quality is really impressive. It fits well, with pockets in exactly the right places and the light weight and packability mean I can take it anywhere. Looking forward to using it this winter.

This helps in making for a sure fit over layers. The construction is perfect. No holes anywhere. The neck area is not too tight which is perfect for a turtleneck layer or bulky sweater. The zip pockets on the sides are great for making sure that personal items don't spill out. The inner pockets are great for a phone, gloves or wallet. Hard to beat.
Shipment was prompt and the delivery was on time.
