When on, the cut of the crotch and butt areas was so wonky that I was getting massive [...] and wrinkly, loose areas by the front pockets, at the same time! I don't know who these jeans were cut to fit, but definitely not me.

The material here is a lightweight smooth sateen with just the right amount of stretch - it's not shiny, but it's not a dull olive color. Looks great and could easily be dressed up. I don't like my pants skin-tight, but I do like them to skim my body: I am 5'5", 108#, no hips or butt (sigh) - I bought size 26 in the 32" length. The material is 98% cotton w/ 2% spandex. I machine washed in cold and line dried and they're fine; the label says to hand wash - yeah, right! Great pants. Great price.
