5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect!

These are my first climbing shoes for indoor bouldering and climbing. I had been wearing a 40.5 in gym rentals so bought the same in these. The fit is definitely tight and painful in the heel right now. I had the gym owner look at them and he said the technology in these force your foot towards the front of the shoe where you want your toes to touch. My toes are gently curled at the moment and expect these to stretch 1/2-1 full size due to not having a liner. I did put mole skin in the heel to prevent rubbing from the stitching. I expect these to fit perfect once broken in. I wear a 9 in shoes and 9 1/2 in running sneakers. The box says these are a 8 2/3.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes
Reviewed by Qing from Ca on Wednesday, June 19, 2019
after buying these shoes for a year, I could write down my experience. my street size is 6 here. and I ordered the 36.5 one. it's my 2nd pair. By the time I bought it, I had climbed for a few months. So if you are a beginner and not used to the climbing shoes, you might feel too tight at the beginning. Even for me it's so tight that every time after climbing I need to take them off immediately. But these shoes will stretch later, and after you break in, it really feel very comfortable. I have very sweaty feet, the leather on the bottom could absorb the sweat very well which both make you feel good and make the shoes less smelly. My other shoes sizes are: Evolv Elektra 6.5(upsized half, need to wear socks later); La sportiva Miura 35.5, man lace version
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes but too small

These shoes look nice but definitely run way small. I normally wear a 5.5-6 in street shoes and got these in a 38. I couldn’t even get my foot into them at all.

I'm typically a size 7 (US women), but i sized down to a 37.5. These shoes were extremely tight when I first tried them on, but after a few climbing sessions they've started to loosen up.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Run Very Small!

Can't comment on performance because they run really small even for climbing shoes... at least a full size.

    Great beginner shoe.
