Shred Alert began simply enough. Shred Alert founder Heather Amaryllis moved to Hood River, Oregon in 1989 with a single sewing machine and a fax machine-- and began creating. The first Shred Alert hat collection was born that year, and 20 years later Shred Alert's design team continues the tradition of making distinctive Shred Alert accessories for customers who shred, love the outdoors and love unique designs. Shred Alert no longer makes hats on a single sewing machine, but the Shred Alert mission remains the same: to create a quality product that conveys Shred Alert's passion for the planet and the people who explore it. Shred Alert believes in making high-quality, useful products for people who love the outdoors.
