5.0 out of 5 stars. Great flies for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Au Sable Trout Bum from Michigan on Saturday, June 20, 2015The elk hair caddis is an easy fly to tie but can be a bit problematic in the small sizes especially for older tiers. Overall these are very high quality with just perhaps a too long of hackle for size 20.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Black, Elk Hair CaddisVerified Buyer Reviewed by rxflyfisher from Delaware on Wednesday, March 18, 2015These look to be excellent quality flies. The tying part is indeed excellent but I cannot comment on the quality of the hooks. My order was for size 18 flies and the actual flies were labeled 18 but the hooks were size 14. Not sure if this is why they were on special, but be aware that this is a possibility. I can use them for sure but they were not quite as described.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very good qualityReviewed by Anonymous from NE WA on Friday, March 1, 2013These are very well tied indeed. I would ignore Moucheur's review as I doubt he/she actually has any of these flies as I do. They are generally very well proportioned as compared to the picture which has the elk hair the tiniest bit long and the hackle much more sparse than most of the the actual flies. There is some variation in the actual flies as would always be expected. Trust me, the fish couldn't care less. I'm not sure exactly what kind of hook these are but they seem just fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars. High floater gets the job done.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Blue Ridge Rider from Pisgah Forest, NC on Friday, February 22, 2013Good fly on the surface is better than any fly in the air. This fly properly treated floats high and long. Now you have to know where the trout are lying in the stream and position yourself properly and the fly for success.
