2.0 out of 5 stars. spyder polar nexusVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mark from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 19, 2019Looks like a great jacket- but I would not know. It does not fit normally wear a large jacket. I ordered XL because reviews said it runs a size small.
The XL size- the sleeves are about 2 inches too short, and I have no shoulder room. Very disappointed that when i went to exchange it , they do not make an XXL. I have other Spyder jackets and have always worn an XL.
I really dop not understand how this jacket runs soo small. I have 35 inch arms and 46 chest, 33 waist. The sizing on this jacket is very bad!
I love Spyder products, but this one really missed the mark. -

The jacket fit him well except for the fact that it was too short. It only came down to right below his waist. If he raised his arms up at all, he would be exposed. Unfortunately, I had to send the jacket back although it promised to be warm with a nice hood. I still give the jacket 4 stars as everything was great; my son just needed a jacket that went down to his hips.

Very warm, very comfortableReviewed by CareyLO from Oregon on Tuesday, January 15, 2019This synthetic down jacket (with hood) is very warm - much warmer than my 500 fill down Marmot jacket. With recent temps as low as 35 and winds of up to 15 mph, the jacket has performed exceedingly well. I did not feel the wind or chill coming through the jacket. I also purchased this jacket because of its waterproof feature, though, I haven't yet worn the jacket in the rain. I also like the unusual stitching - why be the same as all other brands?! The attached hood is a nice addition, though I will continue to wear my Spyder brand knit hat which also is very warm. All in all, don't be turned off by the fact that this is not a down jacket. Its warmth is amazing.
