Collapses too easily and could injure an occupant. If the legs did lock into place, I would still give it one star.. The springs are not tight. Would barely support a tiny bird. It folds over the legs and the mattress stores under the bed in a slot at the top of the legs. Thus, before folding, one has to take the mattress off, turn the bed upside down, and wrestle with the mattress to slide it into the slot before folding.
