Some things can do the opposite which are the items that people compliment me in.
i liked the dark red which was the version i saw. I just wanted to give a heads up to those of you in a similar situation. -

Living in North Dakota the wind is the biggest weather factor, and with a good solid layer under this it is great!

I got the large (I'm a medium generally 5'7" 150) because I wanted to layer for winter without feeling constricted at all. I got it today & just tried base layer, sweater, jacket - & it's a perfect fit. Score!! Worth the money for me since this is a jacket I'll wear for years to come.
