4.0 out of 5 stars. Great sock - except for sizing.Verified Buyer Reviewed by David from Capistrano Beach on Wednesday, November 29, 2017These are amazing thick socks - exactly what I wanted except that Thorlo sizing is different than most manufacturers and socks were to large for my 11 1/2 foot size.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Lots of hard use; perfect so farReviewed by Maine from Maine on Sunday, September 27, 2015I am a wildland firefighter. I wear heavy, un-padded, leather boots...these are hard on socks and feet. I have used these socks on a bunch of fires, and they are holding up very well. At least as good as expedition-weight Smartwools.
