The "duck" in Tough Duck's brand name refers to canvas duck, which is the most popular fabric used for work clothing. Made of heavyweight woven cotton similar to what was used on traditional boat sails, cotton duck is ideal for resisting tears, blocking wind and lasting for years on the jobsite. Tough Duck knows that their tough customers need even tougher workwear, which is why they use brass rivets, triple stitching and heavy duty brass zippers on their clothing. Tough Duck's line of rugged work clothing includes work jackets, pants, vests, bib overalls and coveralls, some of which are heavily insulated for cold-weather work. Tough Duck is a subsidiary of Canadian company Richlu Manufacturing, which has taken its 70 years of experience working outside in Canadian winters to produce some of the best workwear around.
