I also have the quilted hammock and this is much more comfortable, however it may be too plush for hot summers which is why I bought the quilted one also. We have not left it outside in the elements yet because I would like to keep it it good condition for a long time, although I'm sure it would be fine if left outside. It's meant to stay outside really. The color I have is beige so I can't comment on this color. This is an excellent deal. Elsewhere this hammock is about 380.00 dollars. Buy it before it's gone. You will not regret!
