5.0 out of 5 stars. Smooth

I already have a Mitchell 300, used mostly for Lake Michigan fishing and wanted something a little smaller, and have not been disappointed. This is just as smooth as my 300 and for $25 I don't feel you can find a better reel. Very solid build quality, smooth drag, just a nice reel all around for the money. Paired it with a nice 6 ft. medium light action rod and 8 lb. test for under $50 and I think I have a combo that can match many at close to twice the price.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. NICE REEL

VERY NICE REEL. DID NOT GIVE A FIVE STAR BECAUSE IT IS LARGER THAN EXPECTED. THE ORIGINAL 308 WAS AN ULTRALIGHT REEL. THIS IS A LITTLE BULKY, BUT FOR $25.00 BUCKS....IS NOT BAD.
