The "fur" isn't very thick or luxurious, the nylon is thin and the bit that goes under your neck is a bit short......but for the price, it gets the job done. Best use is what I'm using it for: the slippery nylon shell slides nicely under a hood - i.e.; good for really cold weather as a "layering hat" under a hood. On it's own it's not that warm. Stylish? - Nah. But the price is right and OK construction means it's not going to fall apart despite the cheap materials.

I have been looking for a cap that would keep my head and ears warm. I have tried caps with ear flaps, but the cold air still sneaks in. This hat can actually make your head hot; and that feels mighty good when temperatures are in the single digits. I like it a lot.
