I have been looking or these for a while. Did not want to pay the $200 everywhere else so when they popped up on Sierra Trading Post (different color but no problem) I jumped on the deal. Very nice shoe. Very comfortable and lightweight.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Surprised by Shimano

Received these and was immediately disappointed by the system that secures the cleat backing to the shoe - essentially a sticker. We'll see how this handles wet conditions through the fall. These are also really, really wide. Sized down a half size and while the length is fine I have the lacing system cinched all the way down and the heel still feels loose-ish. On the bright side, they feel fairly light and the sole has a nice stiffness. I would not buy another pair. Expected a better product from Shimano...
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for my foot

As a user of the previous generation of these shoes I was looking forward to updating to the ME7. Unfortunately they do not fit like the M200s did. The toe box felt more narrow and was tight on the top of my feet as well. Overall construction felt great and I really liked the new ratchet system. These shoes seemed to have everything going for them but they just don't fit my foot.

Love this shoe. The flap over the quick laces in addition to the buckle is a great combo. The traction is great for hike a bike situations and is relatively stiff for power when pedaling. I also like that they come up a little higher towards the ankle.
