I'm wearing them now, on a week 's trip to Houston, as they were comfortable right out of the box. The calves may be a bit slim for some folks, but fit my athletic calves perfectly. The height (from arch to shaft top) comes in at 16.5" for me, which is great for a tall girl. The heel height is 1.5", which makes them tremendously comfortable. This "grey" color is a dark taupe-y brown, which I rather enjoy. Thanks very much, STP, for boots that will indeed last forever!
