  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Smallest size too big

I liked the skirts (ordered both colors) a lot. They were JUST what I would have wanted, had the smallest size Woolrich makes not been size 4. What happened to size 2, Woolrich? This is certainly not Sierra Trading Post's fault. They are a great store and I've always been pleased with them. But I have to complain and rate the skirt low because there is no size below size 4 ! What's up with that? Sadly, and in frustration, I returned the skirts.

    I love cargo skirts
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs big
Reviewed by Elsabae from Maine on Thursday, May 28, 2015
I usually take a 4 or 6 and I ordered this in both. The 4 is too big. It is a straight cut, meant (I presume) to be mid to low rise. If the cut works for you it would be a good quick-dry skirt for traveling.

On the turquoise color, the contrast stitching is very prominent.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. nice skirt, wrinkly fabric
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sw hiker from Colorado on Sunday, January 11, 2015
The fabric on this skirt is a light weight, thin cotton blend. It's not "crisp" as described but instead is pretty wrinkly and puckers at some of the seaming. If you are small on the bottom and this skirt is not clinging, it might look all right. I'm pear shaped = small waist and big hips. This skirt was not flattering on my body shape and the fabric made it worse. I had to return it.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
