Powder skirt is not removable and it DOES NOT have cuff gaiters (even though the pictures makes it look like it does and says "Half-elastic outer cuffs with touch-fasten adjustment and thumbhole loop." It is only moderately insulated, but that makes the fit very nice in my opinion. Feels true to size. I have been wearing around town in the rain and it repels nicely Have yet use it on the slopes. Good quality jacket overall.
