4.0 out of 5 stars. Rustic yet stylishVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dapper Jim from NorCal on Wednesday, January 18, 2017Great colors in this hand knit sweater. I'm a true size 42 (5'11" 170lbs) and the large fit me well. Due to the looseness of the weave, this sweater is not very warm in the wind. I'm otherwise happy with this attractive and rather unique looking sweater.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Sleeves Not ProportionateReviewed by Too many shoes from dc on Wednesday, November 25, 2015I ordered this for my father-in-law for Christmas and unfortunately it will have to go back. The sleeves are way too short. I ordered size large (he's 6'1") and they are the correct length for my arms (I'm 5'5".)

5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid, tight weave for warmth.Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Average American Apparel Shopper from USA on Friday, November 20, 2015The wool used in this is coarse so a solid under-layer OR TWO is necessary because of the skin irritation factor. Otherwise, this is a great sweater for the coldest days like what they find in the Himalayas or in the back country of Nepal. The style is a little off but it's more than acceptable with a polypropylene under-layer on a bitter cold day. The zip collar is a very nice touch for letting some body heat out. The neck area is lined to contain the wool so that you don't constantly scratch that area due to the itch.
The model in the photo conceals the notches on the sides at the bottom with his hands. There is no elastic at the bottom or wrists, but, this is OK because gloves or an under-layer with long sleeves covers it.
There's some rough debris in the weave near the wrists, which leads me to believe that the Nepalese manual weavers were meticulous in assembling this sweater to keep the softer wool near the chest. I can't detect an odor of lanolin so they cleaned the wool well before they worked on it.
The STP discounted price makes for a well dressed Shaolin monk laughing at the bitter cold. This sweater is better than others costing a lot more. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice warm handmade wool sweater.Reviewed by edepass from Croton-on-Hudson on Saturday, November 14, 2015Great value for the money. True to size, but not form fitting, so the square bottom hides my rotund belly well.

3.0 out of 5 stars. It's just okayVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Wednesday, July 29, 2015I like the philosophy of the Laundromat brand but this pullover wasn't quite what I was looking for. It's rather shapeless and the wool is the incredibly itchy variety. It looked well-made, just not what I wanted.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Too wide body, too short sleevesReviewed by Anton from Russia, Siberia, Novokuznetsk on Friday, July 24, 2015This sweater has awful fit and size. "M" size looks like "XL" with short sleeves and wide body - for chubby men, I suppose.
