I bought it for my 12 yr old son since he started riding his bike to school. He LOVES it. He's shorter than 5', but the pack adjusts to fit him perfect, it can also fit me and my 6' husband. It's roomy enough to fit several large school books etc, and distributes the weight evenly. He was starting to complain about back pain, and now has no problems. He's turned the helmet harness into a lunchbox harness and hasn't needed the rain fly yet, so I can't speak to that. As to the airflow, he's riding 3 miles during the hottest part of the day, in the Arizona sun, and he's not drenched in sweat. We are all grateful for this, especially my leather sofa that gets the first greeting when he gets home. The bladder works as it should. All in all, we are all very satisfied with this pack. I'm curious to see how it works for day hikes over the summer.
Also, it looks really cool.
