They are also quite comfortable, and even more so when the insoles are replaced with my orthotics. The truly nice characteristic of this brand is that the heel edge is leather & softly padded--extremely easy to put on & take off ones shoes. I've already gotten complimented on them.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 but these may be close to a 9 1/2. The shoes are beautifully made and very comfortable, one you get the correct size. Be sure to order 1/2 to 1 size down.

The only thing is size 6.5 is equal to size 38 (european size) so that is about roughly 1 size larger. Understandable since Lowa is known for hiking shoes so their shoes is usually larger than normal to include medium hiking socks. Just need to inform user the different.

I bought an 8.5 on sale because that's all that was left, and was concerned it might be too small. But, sadly it was too big so ended up having to return the 8.5 to my local STP store. They were very well made and confortable, but I'd recommend buying a half size down.
