Beautiful, but wouldn't be great for chopping wood!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good Walking JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by hdtessla from Wisconsin on Tuesday, March 15, 2016Good walking jacket. Which is what I bought it for. Sitting driving the car it is a bit stiff. And the upper arms seems a bit tight.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat!Reviewed by Boings from New York on Friday, March 4, 2016This is my third Jack Wolfskin coat, and overall I love it! It is sturdy for outdoor wear, but shapely enough that I don't feel frumpy wearing it 'around town.' I thought the fabric might pull easily, but I've had it for nearly a year now, and the fabric looks as good as new. The interior lining is a furry fleece, and wonderfully soft. Two drawbacks to this jacket: 1) The color is odd. It's between a grey and a brown, so it really cannot be worn with either of those color pants. The lining is burnt orange, which I love, but again, not easy to match. 2) The stitching around the wrist is coming out. I cannot say for sure that it is a manufacturing issue--perhaps I got it caught on my bracelet and didn't realize. Either way, easily fixed. This coat is a lot warmer than I expected; definitely recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful, but wouldn't be great for chopping wood!Verified Buyer Reviewed by wordgirl from Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 27, 2015The fabric and overall look of this coat are fantastic. My daughter (who started borrowing it) and I both got compliments on it. The fleece lining is super-soft, and this is overall a high-quality jacket with great coverage. But when my daughter wanted to steal it from me, I let her, because it has so few pockets and also doesn't allow a full range of motion, at least not in my usual size (small), as it's made to be a little dressier than most sturdy coats. I got myself something with a lot more pockets and a less trim fit.
