They appear larger than the average shoe, especially in a sz 13, and with my wife laughing at my purchase I was hesitant to even put them on. Well, these are among the best purchases i ever made. I generally wear hiking boots as I put in an average of 15 miles a day INDOORS at my job, and I will still wear them the majority of the time, but the Soft Science shoes are such a welcome relief! They're light, cushiony with GREAT support, and they even grew on my wife. A couple hours before I end my shift I switch off to these, and they bring a welcome end to my day. The best thing is that they have a slightly larger footprint than the average shoe, which helps distribute the load and cushions better. PLEASE make a boot!

They are not the Hard core boat shoe they are more comfortable ..however they will hold up to the weather and have a great grip as well.Great Shoe.Pretty classy looking too.Sierra pricing closes the deal.My buddy's wife paid$68 for his.My wife got me 2 pair for that....Have a nice day.
