Most comfortable shoes I have ever stepped intoReviewed by Bobby B from Sandpoint on Thursday, April 16, 2026Not exaggerating when I say that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had the pleasure of sticking my feet into. It was only amplified by the fact that I had purchased a pair of Spyder trail running shoes which were the most uncomfortable trail running shoes I had ever had the misfortune of stepping into.
The soles make it feel like I am running on a cloud and my fat feet are always giddy when I hit the trail.
If I ever get another pair of trail running shoes, it will be Altra's. -

Pinch Points, run bigReviewed by Hiker from Colorado on Thursday, April 9, 2026I'm a 10.5 in every shoe brand, and while these felt great in a 10.5, my toe was at least an inch from the end of the shoe. Recommend sizing down a half size. The deal breaker for me was when they flex, the top of the shoe creates a sharp crease that rubs the top of my foot. I've had other Altra shoes and this is unique to this model. I wish they worked, they fit all my other needs with the zero drop/wide toe box. I decided to return.
