If you get any snow on them at all, they are wet. They stay wet inside for a very long time ... several days. Maybe the black part is waterproof, but not the rest of it. Fine if you never encounter snow - otherwise, I would definitely give these a miss.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Super warm mittensReviewed by Susurrus from North Dakota on Monday, December 27, 2021My 9-year-olds niece loved the size S and played for over an hour in 0-degree weather without getting cold hands. She has long fingers for her age, and the S fit perfectly.
Only downside is that they'd tear easily on the backs (like any nylon puff material) if they're used aims brush, puppies, etc. -

Size Small mitts are about 8 inches total length, but the length from fingertip to base of palm is only 6 inches. Otherwise very nice warm mittens.
