    This is my first pair of cycling shoes so I have no real basis for comparison. I was searching for that perfect nexus of price, quality, and what was available in my size. I was hesitant about moving to cycling shoes but am very happy I took the plunge. Clicking in and out has not been a problem. Way easier than I thought! I've been out on a few rides and the power delivered with the shoes vs. cages is noticeable. When the shoes arrived there was a part of the ratchet mechanism that was not attached (though all parts were in the box). Since I went to my bike shop for help putting on the cleats I had them attach the piece. (required a small allen wrench). Bought them for use in a tri. Haven't raced with them yet but I think they will be easy enough to get in and out of quickly. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9 shoe. The size 41 fit just fine.
