A good looking hat that's inexpensiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve ski from New Jersey on Friday, August 14, 2015I was skeptical about such an inexpensive hat that claims to look like an Aussie leather outback hat - but this one delivers big. My wife was amazed at my new Indiana Jones look. The texture and distressing mimics a worn leather look, but if you get close and feel it you'll notice that it's not leather - but then very few people get close enough to touch my hat. The XL size fits a head of 7 5/8" to 7 3/4". I was initially concerned that the mostly closed construction of the hat dome would make my head hot during the summer (there are four holes in the dome) but even summer beach days did not cause me to get hot - about as cool as my mesh Aussie hat.
