    I ordered 2 of these (the navy and the gray) and both are almost uncomfortably snug, even with the tension cord untied (for comparison, I comfortably wear a large in the Outdoor Research Oasis Sombrero and have straight fine hair which does not get stuffed up into the hat, i.e. in a bun). If you have a smaller head this hat might work well.
