I normally wear a size 9.5 for non-athletic shoes and always wear a size 10 for running shoes (to allow for foot expansion). However, my big toe is right at the tip of the shoe. Also the shoe feels tight width-wise. I believe if I ordered a size 10.5, the fit would be better. Costs too much to ship back, so I will keep them and just not wear them for running. Since I will not be using them for running, I cannot comment on how good of a running shoe they are. However, they initially feel a bit stiff and the cushioning is firm/dense as opposed to "cushiony". That would be the feel you want for strictly off-road running.
