3.0 out of 5 stars. Seem to have different sizing from othersReviewed by Jaime from North Carolina on Monday, December 2, 2019I guess buy them all and return what doesn't fit. I am a womens 7 occasionally 7.5 and got these in the 7 and the were too big. If 6.5 were available I might have exchanged but I think they still would have been big in the midfoot. My toes were just grazing the tips so a half size down would be good I think so I dont like my shoes crazy tight but just tight enough to not have excess room. I have a skinny midfoot and heel and I think there's too much space in midfoot even lacing as tight as I could.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Changing my rating to 5 starsReviewed by Arina from Kansas on Sunday, June 16, 2019I wrote a previous review where I gave these shoes only 4 stars before I actually tried them out in action. Indoors they were average but outdoors on real sandstone routs... they were amazing! I swear I could trust my feet even on wet rock. I also complained about that I didn't like the size that I purchased - yes, they feel a little too tight for my taste, but actually it doesn't bother me to untie and take them off after each climb now because when I am on the wall, they hug my foot just exactly right. I bought Luchador in 7.5 and I at the same time I bought Evolv Kronos in size 8. After having this experience with Luchadors, I am returning Kronos back (they feel a bit too narrow and too long in size 8 for my wide but short foot, just not the right fit for my foot shape) and getting another pair of Luchador in the same size 7.5.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Overall nice shoesReviewed by Arina from Kansas on Thursday, June 6, 2019I am a female with rather wide front part of the foot, thick big toe and a very high arch. Depending on the shape, I can wear anything from size 6 to 7 in street shoes (35.5 - 36.5 in European size system) . I purchased 7.5 (man size) and they are a bit too tight for my taste because I know that synthetic materials won't stretch much. Also when I buy laced climbing shoes, I expect to keep them on without causing me much discomfort for at least 5-7 hours. If there was size 8 available, I feel that this would be perfect for my foot.
Another drawback is that the ribbon loops on on the right shoe are sawn a little bit off center compared with the left shoe. It causes a pressure point on my right achilles and it is really a bummer because with the left shoe, where loop is correctly centered, I have no problem with it at all.
Other than this, they look very good. I like that they are not too aggressive (very curved shoes don't work with my high arch) and the rubber looks very nice. Today I will give them my first try in the gym.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Evolv LuchadorVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Japan on Monday, April 8, 2019The product was easy to order and arrived quickly. The shoe itself is very tight and hasn't broken in yet. Still working on them daily in hopes that they will soften up a bit and fit my feet better.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not a bad shoeReviewed by Anonymous from OR on Monday, March 5, 2018I (female) wear 7.5-8 in street shoes and I remember being confused by the sizing offered here when I was buying these about a year ago.
I got the 7.5 size, what I think is men's 7.5, and I'm glad I did - incredibly, it is the right size for me.
I like my shoes tight, and I accept the breaking in period, especially with aggressive shoes like these, when your feet adjust to the curvature as well as the shape. I had a week or two of only being able to tolerate the shoes for half an hour or so. Then I/ the shoes adjusted to become uncomfortable only after a few hours of climbing AND belaying in them (it's the standing around in them that's most uncomfortable, but sometimes you just don't want to stop, y'know).
I would NOT recommend downsizing: go UP to be able to use these shoes.
The other issue with those is that they are very smelly: the upper synthetic material somehow retains moisture for up to several days after climbing. Kinda gross in the same way as when you have to put on a damp swimming suit: it's weird, prompts "rationality vs. icky" internal debate, and you stop caring as soon as you jump into the pool (=start climbing). They do smell because if this.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty agressive shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tampa on Thursday, September 21, 2017I bought this same brand previously in a different style so I chose the same size, but they were way too tight. The back of the shoe pressed very hard into my Achilles and I couldn't wear them- I have down graded to a less aggressive shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by New climber from Salem, OR on Thursday, June 15, 2017I've only worn them in the kitchen so far. I wear a women's 7.5 (or 38) in normal shoes. In these, a 8.5 is probably right (hurts a little all the way around). These have a stiff sole that makes my feet feel supported (less stress on my big toe joint), and are wide enough for my wide fee.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Legend from Los Angeles on Monday, June 5, 2017These shoes are really great. They run a little small, however, they have really grippy rubber and fit well. A well made functional shoe.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Utah on Friday, May 19, 2017These are my first climbing shoes that I have purchased. They are definitely a step up from the shoes you can rent from the indoor climbing shoes. They are very tight but work great!
