He loved it and wore it the next day. The knit it is thick and cozy, and the sweater is well made. I was looking for a sweater that didn’t look like all the other plain men’s sweaters when I purchased this and it is perfect.

I am usually happy with a large (5’11” and195 lbs) but the sleves were a bit long and it is long in the body. I will deal with it as it fits”around” me just fine and I may have my wife shrink it a bit. Classy and very warm. Probably the large would have been a better choice.
