The tops are canvas so probably won't last as long as leather but they were on closeout and the price was right and are just right for warmer weather. They are very lightweight and flexible. I wear an 11 or 11 1/2 and needed the larger size but they fit perfectly. Liked them so much ordered a second pair.The soles seem very durable.
