5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this top!

This top is becoming one of my favorites! The color is gorgeous, it fits perfectly, it is extremely comfortable and it washes well. The fleece is a great weight ... not heavy so that you get too warm. Just feels cozy. Would buy more if there were other colors.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Disappointing

Was expecting much more from Marmot even with the price cut.
I loved the periwinkle, but quality and fabric was not even worth it.

Sleeves are long, which is good; bottom is fine; but tight across the chest and armpits, so only a camisole under it.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Soft, Warm, Long

5'10", lanky--the L fits perfectly with room for a layer underneath, still looks slim, length hits below the hip bones (mid-"cheek") and sleeves hit just past my knuckles. I'd say sizing is slightly narrower than typical (I'm often a M--sz 8-10--but the M was a snug base layer) and may be too long for a shorter woman. For me, this is a perfect fit for a garment designed to keep me warm! The white/gray pattern is beautiful and can be paired with gray, taupe or sage and look like a perfect match.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. runs small

I wanted this for layering but the medium is so tight on my 5'3.5" and 125 pounds frame that it would only be appropriate for a base layer and I don't consider fleece a base layer. It is also a bit too long for me though it might be a great fit for a taller woman who likes form-fitting fleece. I prefer a looser fit so it will have to go back. The turquoise color was nice and bright.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
